Dawn loves shoes... she buys a new pair every day but wishes her boutique shop wouldn't put her new shoes stuffed with paper tissue, into a cardboard box, then into a large paper bag. She would rather they put them in one plastic bag and be done with it! |
That's because Dawn knows: Plastic films use the minimum of raw materials - less than 2% of the oil barrel. Plastic bags are made from a bi-product of oil refining which would otherwise be wasted. They also use less energy during manufacture, distribution, use and disposal. |
